  • That those who live lives of loneliness and despair find comfort in the Eucharist, let us pray to the Lord: 
  • That Christians everywhere welcome Christ as their guest at every meal, and long to receive him with devotion at the table of the Eucharist, let us pray to the Lord: 
  • That these followers of Jesus become more like him through frequent reception of Communion, let us pray to the Lord:
Loving Father, the gift of the Eucharist blesses us with the Presence for which every human heart longs. By partaking in the Eucharist, let us become more perfectly the Body of Christ. May our table always reflect the love of Christ, a love that embraces all, a grace that flows to the ends of the earth. We pray through Christ our Lord, Amen.
