Let us prayerfully offer our petitions to God, who has sent us his Son. - That neither persecution nor apathy, prosperity nor poverty, weaken the Church’s witness to the message of Jesus, let us pray to the Lord:
- That neither old hatreds nor new resentments prevent nations from seeking peace that lasts, let us pray to the Lord:
- That those struggling with addiction of any kind find strength and healing in the sacraments, let us pray to the Lord:
- That those who care for the very old and the very ill be blessed with cheerful hearts and gentle hands, let us pray to the Lord:
- That this community may live more and more as a people of the end times, anxiously awaiting the return of Christ by word and deed, let us pray to the Lord:
God, whose being is communion, increase our communion with you and one another. This we ask through Christ our Lord, Amen. ©2025 OCP liturgy@ocp.org All rights reserved. Printed in the United States of America.
