Third Sunday of Easter
![]() “When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” Let us Pray: O Lord, our loving Savior, thank you for meeting us on the road of life through the reading of your Word and at the table of your grace. Help us to approach scripture with humility and hunger, asking you to reveal Jesus in every page. Draw us to your broken body and blood poured out, that we may feast on your grace, experience forgiveness, and be united with you and one another. Ignite within us hearts that burn with passion for you, that we may live as faithful witnesses in a world that longs for hope. Holy Spirit, inhabit our minds as we study, our hands as we serve, and our lips as we proclaim the good news. In the name of the risen Christ, we pray, Amen.
